Introducing: MTG Sealed League at FTW Pryor!
As we've kicked off spooky season with the werewolves of Innistrad Midnight Hunt and anticipate the release of Crimson Vow on November 19th, we're announcing a new season-long MTG program at FTW!
Introducing—Sealed League! Sealed League is a bi-weekly tournament that will run from 10/8/2021 - 2/26/2022 at our Pryor location!
Each player will start with a sealed deck consisting of 6 Innistrad Midnight Hunt Draft Boosters and we'll be adding packs to the deck each event!
Opening weekend is 10/8-10/9, but the best part about Sealed League is the flexible drop-in like schedule!
Players are not required to attend every event to participate, making this the perfect pick-up game of Magic the Gathering!
At the end of the season (Feb 2022) we'll close out the event and award prizes to the Top 8 players! Rankings are determined by a points based system - at the end of the season we'll host a final tournament between the Top 8!
How It Works
The basics:
- Each Player Starts with a Sealed Deck (6 Innistrad Midnight Hunt Draft Boosters)
- Each Event 1 Booster Pack is Added to Your Deck
- Max of 3 Rounds Per Event
- Points Accumulate Each Session:
- Participation = 1 Point
- Loss = 1 Point
- Win = 2 Points
- Players can drop in as often as their schedule allows, you don't have to attend every event to participate!
- Promos and random prizes will be given every event!
- Prizes go to the 8 players with the most points at the end of the season (Feb 2022)!
- The 1st Place player will get to choose between a Japanese Ikoria Booster Box OR a Walking Dead Secret Lair box!

FAQ
- How much does it cost to enter the Sealed League? The entry fee for Sealed League is $25 (+tax), which includes 6 Innistrad Midnight Hunt Draft Booster Packs, 1 Dragon Shield Double Shell Deck Box, 1 Pack Ultra Pro Matte Sleeves and 1 D20.
- What are the fees after that? Each event we will be adding in 1 Booster to our decks! The cost for each event is listed on the schedule along with what packs we will be adding that week.
- What if I don't want to add to my deck, can I come play without buying more cards? Absolutely! You don't have to buy additional boosters if you don't want to!
- Can we bring our decks home? Because this is a limited format we'll be keeping all decks in a safe place at the store in-between events. However, they are your cards so you are welcome to take them home but once they leave the store they cannot be entered back into the event.
- How many rounds will each event consist of? Depending on attendance, there will be a Max of 3 Rounds per event.
- I missed opening weekend, can I still join? Of course! Players can join at any event throughout the season!
- What if I miss an event, am I out of the Sealed League? Nope! Players are not required to attend every event to participate - come as often as your schedule allows!
- Which FTW Game Co. location is Sealed League at? Sealed League is at our Pryor location - but keep an eye out for an announcement at the Claremore location!
Meet Your Host
Our Sealed League Program was spearheaded by Barrett Rotramel! Barrett is the resident Magic Expert at FTW Game Co, and he'll be hosting each Sealed League event this season!
